Today I bought your album Maybe I'm Dreaming.
And I absolutely adore it.
I'm listening to This is the Future right now and feeling completely swept up in the gorgeous melody.
One of my favorite things in the whole world is getting to listen to music for the first time.
It's as though every time I hear a song is the beginning of a new relationship, and there's this excitement about where this relationship will go.
You never know, it could be true love.
So I guess I just wanted to say:

Enchanted
Dearest Adam,
First of all, I was up at midnight and it was March 1st and your tour announcement was not up yet.
Sort of put a damper on my night.
But it was all ok because once you did post the dates my rather terrible day was instantly made infinitely better by the prospect of being able to see you in person.
I realize that my relationship with you and your music is still somewhat new, but I still feel like somehow we've become friends even though we have yet to meet.
(Are you creeped out yet? I would be.)
Anyways, the prospect of being able to see you live this summer brightened my day and also gave me something to look forward to long-term, something I've been in desperate need of.
So, thank you.

Love
Dearest Adam,
What you did for Taylor is the most romantic, lovely, adorable thing I've ever seen someone do for another person.
She is the luckiest girl in the world.
I also wanted to thank you for putting up that blog post describing your first time realizing "Enchanted" was about you.
Once I got the album my favorite thing to do was sit about and wonder what that moment was like for you, and it made so happy that you were willing to share it.

Excited
Dearest Adam,
Today, for the first time in my life, I wrote a song.
I've always wanted to write music, but I never thought I had the talent.
I think I was always too afraid.
But today I finally wrote one.
And I'm so excited.
